The Kadokeshi is an eraser with a uniquely designed shape. Featuring 28 corners, it allows you to enjoy erasing with a fresh, sharp edge every time, making it easy to erase even the finest details with precision and cleanliness.
Originally created as an entry for the Kokuyo Design Award in 2002, the Kadokeshi received a Special Mention and was later brought into production. Because the many corners are naturally smaller, the eraser is made slightly firmer than usual to prevent them from breaking off during use. In addition, careful consideration has been given to its erasing performance and the way the eraser debris gathers neatly, resulting in a product that stands out not only for its form but also for its quality.
The Kadokeshi has received the Good Design Award and is included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
